Seth Thomas Pillar and Scroll Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, mahogany scroll top case with three brass urn finials, painted wood dial with flower basket in center, reverse painted lower glass, label “Clocks, Made and Sold by Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn.”, comes with hand written not from Nov. 1953 stating the clock was purchased for $175 from Litchfield, CT. Replaced movement, missing pendulum, and cracked glass on clock face. Measures approx. 31″ tall x 17 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep.

Seth Thomas Mahogany Pillar & Scroll Shelf Clock: 30 hour wood works with 1.511 movement. Original wood dial and reverse painted lower plate. Good interior labels. Time and bell striking, weight driven. Circa 1820’s.
(Restored and the wood dial has some paint loss and crazing.)

Pillar & Scroll Shelf Clock, Circa 1825, 12″ excellent hand painted dial, 30-hour, wood works movement, retains most original glue blocks on case, label reads “Patent clocks made & sold by Seth Thomas warranted if well used  “, with minor repairs this would be a very nice pillar & scroll clock, refinished repair to original top, lower tablet redone on old glass, good original base. Height 30 1/2”.

Mahogany scroll top case with painted wood dial, raised gilt decoration and two heehives below the center, reverse painted lower glass of country house with stenciled border (small crack in upper right corner), very nice label “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry. Made and Sold at Plymouth, Connecticut by Seth Thomas”. 30 hour wooden works weight driven clock, key wind, pendulum. Measures approx. 29″ tall x 17 1/4″ wide x 5″ deep.
