Seth Thomas Lodge Alarm Clock: all metal, formed as a house. It is one day, lever time with alarm. Gold gilt front, nickel plated frame with glass in the sides. With 3″ dial. Circa 1900.

(The dial is stained and dirtied. The metal finish is showing some wear.)

An unusual Adamantine finish Seth Thomas mantel clock with winding hole in the base for a patented alarm feature referred to as an ‘Eight Day Long Alarm’ as advertised on the original paper dial and on a label on the reverse. 8 day time and strike, plus an extra dial on the face, a lever in the case below the 6 position and an extra winding hole in the base. All original good condition. 11.5 x 12.5 x 7 inches overall.
