American Seth Thomas Unusual Bank Lobby Timepiece, Circa 1890, 24″ bronze dial with applied bronze numerals, 30-day, brass spring driven movement, rare heavy bronze clock was used along teller’s partition, set into architecture of lobby, movement winds through a door on the rear of the clock — you will search far and wide before finding another architectural element like this, case with old patina could use some cleaning, small dent near top of case (from a bullet?). Height 40″.

Seth Thomas 18″ Lobby Hanging Clock: mahogany case with an 18″ dial and time and strike movement. The case has a brass presentation plaque that reads, “This clock was bought by subscriptions of members in commemoration of the Queens Diamond Jubilee 1897. The dial is marked D. H. Turner Ilkeston and Seth Thomas USA.
(The wood finish is showing some wear on the left side and top.)

A late 19th century Seth Thomas "Lobby" model gallery clock. 30-day dual spring driven time only movement with dead beat escapement, a painted metal dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Walnut case with short gallery over a single rectangular door with circular dial glass, carved fans and shaped drop with hinged door. Older refinishing with some wear, minor dial discoloration, running when cataloged. 28 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200

Original 14 in. painted metal dial signed ÂSeth Thomas  Thirty Day has blued spade hands and sub seconds dial; brass time only 30 day double spring driven movement No. 86V, signed with Seth Thomas trade mark, has Graham deadbeat escapement, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. Carved cherry case in very good original condition and original finish; replaced seconds hand, has some flaking to the original dial paint. 31 in. high x 20 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep. c.1905.

Lobby Clock. 18 in. painted metal dial has black Arabic hour numbers, fancy pierced spade hour hand and pointer minute hand with counterbalance, sub seconds dial and signed Seth Thomas Thirty Day; 30 day brass double spring driven time only movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. In an oak case with carved door front with raised panels & rosette, arched crest with turned finials and original door glass, paper label in the bottom of the case. In good condition and original finish. 39 in. high x 25 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
