E. Howard Mahogany Hall Tree Clock. Original 10 in. painted metal dial signed ÂE. Howard & Co., Boston, has black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven No. 5 movement signed ÂE. Howard & Co., Boston” and stamped #5, has a recoil escapement, gilt wood pendulum stick, brass covered bob, brass pulley & brass covered weight. The clock is contained in a tower on the left side of the hall tree with beveled glass door panel over the dial and exposing the weight & pendulum, broken arched crest with brass front mounts, brass finial, quarter fan and filigree carvings, has an open shelf over a single drawer, spiral turned posts and brass spindled cane holder gallery in the base. The right side has a single seat bench with carved arms, spiral turned spindles, mirrored and paneled back under a single shelf and 3 brass coat hooks on the right side front post with spiral turned finial. In good condition with an enhanced original finish. 104 in. high x 51 in. wide x 20 in. deep.

Seth Thomas No. 21 Hall Regulator. 12 in. silvered dial has a Âsunflower center pattern with scalloped edge and engraved woven center, applied brass roman hour numerals, 2.5 in. sub seconds dial and blued hands; large pierced brass 8 day weight driven movement has a deadbeat escapement, retaining power, lantern pinions, quarter hour chime on 2 cupped bells and hour strike on a large bell; movement is mounted on an iron bracket, has quality brass pulleys, 3 brass covered weights and brass covered pendulum bob with a long ebonized wood stick. In a tall carved mahogany case with filigree carved crest having raised burled panels, rosettes and corner finials, turned columns on the bonnet door, beveled glass on the lower door, raised panel base with door in the front and stands on carved claw feet. Case is stamped on the back with the number Â12 and stenciled with serial number Â58811Â, has a cleaned and enhanced finish, in good overall condition, repair to the crest. 94 in. high x 18 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.

Has a 12 in. silvered dial signed ÂSeth Thomas with applied brass hour numbers, sub seconds dial, brass back plate, fancy pierced gilt brass filigree on the corner spandrels and in the center with pierced black hands and moon phase dial at the top; brass 8 day weight driven movement with pyramidal plates, has Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, half hour strike on a large coiled gong, brass covered weights, brass pulleys, brass covered pendulum bob with an ebonized wood stick. In a beautiful carved mahogany case with bonnet having scrolling broken arched crest, a large turned center finial, turned corner finials, carved filigree, fluted corner pilasters and pierced carved side panels; the case has large acanthus leaf carved corbels, seashell carving, fluted corner pilasters, beveled door glass, inset & carved lower panel and stands on large carved claw feet. In beautiful condition with an original finish. 100 in. high x 27 in. wide x 18 in. deep.
