Southern Fashion No. 5 Double Dial Calendar Clock. Original 7.5 in. painted dial, black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands, inset paper sub seconds dial with silvered bezel; lower calendar dial signed Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis, Mo., lower dial is set on a hinged door. Good calendar hand. Has a Seth Thomas brass 8 day spring driven movement, manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co. for the Southern Calendar Clock Co, deadbeat escapement, brass bell hour strike, short drop pendulum has a wood stick with brass covered bob. Original calendar mechanism is in good running condition, has original paper labels on the brass barrels. Walnut case is original finish, turned columns on the sides, pointed finials on the arched top and gold leaf on the door glass that reads – “Fashion”. Clock is all original and in good working condition, dials are warped and have some paint loss, center finial is missing its tip. 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Seth Thomas Double Dial Fashion Calendar Clock: 8 day time with gong strike and 2- 8 1/2″ dials in a walnut case. Both dials have an 1876 patent date. The case is excellent.
(The bottom dial has paint loss around the center, where the hand is connected.)
