A mid 19th century Seth Thomas double-decker shelf clock. 8-day brass weight driven time and strike movement with painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Rosewood case with stepped molded cornice over a long upper door with reverse painted lower panel, flanked by turned pilasters with gilded capitols, over a base with shaped pilasters and single door with reverse painted panel. Paper label 80%. Older finish with wear, minor veneer damage, flaking to dial, burn mark on left side, not running when cataloged. 32 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-300
