Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 10" hanging jewelers regulator, the walnut case with burl walnut veneer and back panel framed with ebonized moldings, turned full columns flanking the glazed, burl veneered door, crenellated top and base, the treatment also repeated beneath the roman numeral engraved silvered brass dial with blued steel spade hands and sweep seconds, 8 day, time only nickel plated movement with mirror finish and jewelled pallets, driven by a nickel plated brass weight and compensated mercury pendulum with glass jar, silvered and engraved beat scale, dated October 11th, 1881, serial #55

(The veneer around the door is in rough condition. The 2 drop finials are missing from the door, also the very bottom trim boards. The dial is original and has some paint loss. The weight hangs off center. There are added holes in the backboard.)

Seth Thomas No. 19 Hanging Regulator. Original 12 in. dial signed “Seth Thomas” has black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, and black spade and sweep seconds hands. The brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with trapezoidal shape has deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, cylindrical silvered weight, and bracket mounted, rear hung 2 jar pendulum with beat adjustment; has silvered beat indicator at the bottom of the case. In a carved walnut, number 19 wall hanging case with seashell carved crest, raised panels, turned finials, incised corner corbels and lower bracket with turned teardrop finials. Excellent refinished condition. Dimensions: 77.5 in. high x 23 in. wide x 10 in. deep.
