Seth Thomas Double Dial Fashion Calendar Clock: 8 day time with gong strike and 2- 8 1/2″ dials in a walnut case. Both dials have an 1876 patent date. The case is excellent.
(The bottom dial has paint loss around the center, where the hand is connected.)

Seth Thomas Office No. 2 Double Dial Calendar Clock. 14 in. painted metal dials, black Roman hour numerals on the time dial with black hands, lower calendar dial with black Arabic date numbers, open apertures for day and month indicators, calendar dial is signed Seth Thomas Clock Co. Thomaston, Conn. Brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with brass pendulum bob, proper iron side weight and original lower calendar mechanism with original labels. In a rosewood case with a single full length door and rounded wood bezels around the dial glasses; clock is in good running condition, original finish with minor veneer losses, missing crest. 39 in. high x 19 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

American Seth Thomas Rare & Unusual “Office Calendar #5″, Circa 1885, 14” original painted dials, minor flaking on dials, 8-day, brass weight driven calendar movement, very rare large walnut calendar clock with unique burl panels & unusual carving, upper dial has advertising for “John Finzer & Bros. Boot Jack Tobacco”, an advanced collector’s item with 1876 centennial patent date, excellent refinished condition with repairs to bottom case door, movements need cleaning & seem to work well. Height 47″.
