Seth Thomas City Clock  Buffalo. 6 in. painted metal dial (replaced) with silvered bezel, black Roman hour numerals and black pierced hands; brass, 8 day spring driven movement No. 5 7/8, signed – S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A.  has fancy lyre shaped brass plates, count wheel half hour strike mechanism, coiled gong with silvered coiled mount and damascene silvered pendulum bob. Walnut case with carved and arched center crest with spindled gallery, incised door front and reverse silver decorated door glass. 20.5 in. high x 14 in. wide.
