Seth Thomas City Clock  Boston. 6 in. painted metal dial with brass bezel, black Roman hour numerals and spade hands; brass, 8 day spring driven movement No. 5 7/8, signed – S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A.  has fancy lyre shaped brass plates, count wheel half hour strike mechanism, silvered bell & brass pendulum bob with worn silvered finish. In a walnut case with arched crest, pierced gallery with finials & rosettes on the door front. 21 in. high x 13.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Seth Thomas Mahogany Transitional Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, ca. 1830s, splat and half columns flank door, stenciled and reverse painted lower table, painted dial with flower corner decorations, label, “Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold at Plymouth, Connecticut, by Seth Thomas”. Wooden works, thirty hour time and strike movement. Measures approx. 29 1/2″ tall x 17″ wide x 5″ deep.
