Seth Thomas Mahogany Transitional Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, ca. 1830s, splat stenciled with fruit basket, stenciled columns flank door, stenciled and reverse painted lower table, painted dial with flower corner decorations, label, “Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold at Plymouth, Connecticut, by Seth Thomas”. Wooden works, thirty hour time and strike movement. Measures approx. 28″ tall x 17″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep.
