Self Winding Clock Co. Hanging Clock: battery powered; with a 15″ dial. An interior tag states 120 Gbeat Steel Rod Pendulum. Battery case and wires are intact inside. A metal label inside the door gives this information, No.F6728 and movement number 165002. Oak case. There is a key for the door with it. Not tested.

(The case has some scuff marks.)

Description

Self Winding Clock Co. Hanging Clock: movement no.9340; with patent date Nov.25, 84 (1884). It has a 10″ dial and is in a mahogany case. Interior wires look to be intact. There are extra holes inside the case. The wood finish is original, but not so good looking.

(A piece of wood trim is missing near the bottom; not all of the inner electrical parts are not there.)

OAK SELF WINDING HANGING CLOCK

Description

With painted steel dial marked “Self Winding Clock Co./New York” with all wiring in fine condition and all three printed instruction cards still tacked to inside of door, clock style and serial number of electric movement on embossed brass tag on inside reading “Property of/ Self Winding Clock Co./New York/style of clock 29-12” Mov’t No. 124538”, with original brass pendulum and door key, 18” square x 6” deep.

Condition

Fine although we have not hooked up electrical parts to test. Mr. Vallee had most of his clocks in running order but Forsythes’ does not guarantee working condition on any clocks or watches.

Self Winding P.R.R. Oak Hanging Clock

Description

Self Winding P.R.R. Oak Hanging Clock: With a metal dial that reads “Self Winding Clock Company New York P.R.R. 836” in black letters. The carved solid oak case, which has matching carving on both the upper and lower trim and around the upper door, has a metal tag on the floor with the numbers 35201 stamped into it. Set to work with 2 D cell batteries.

Not tested.

(The dial has spots of corrosion on it.)

Dial – 12″ Diameter; Case 49 1/2″ Long.
