Scottish Mahogany Weight Driven Tall Case Clock. 14″ painted metal dial inscribed “W. Marshall, Wishaw” with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds, sub calendar, pierced brass hands with paint decorated arch and corner spandrels titled “Gentle Sheppard”, displays maidens at the corners and scene of a shepherd playing fluted, accompanied by 2 women and a dog. Brass 8 day weight driven movement with anchor escapement has an hour strike on a bell at the top, long steel pendulum rod with iron bob and 2 iron weights hanging from solid brass pulleys. In a mahogany case with filigree carved bonnet crest over turned corner columns; bowed door panel at the waist flanked by turned half columns and finials, a large inset panel in the base and stands on turned feet. Old overcoated finish, missing crest finial, replaced bonnet glass, dial repainted, bottom panel with weight damage; running and striking. 87.5″ high x 20″ wide x 9.25″ deep.

Scottish Mahogany Weight Driven Tall Case Clock. 12.5″ engraved brass dial signed in the arch “William Freebairn, Ruthenglen” with black incised Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, sub seconds, sub calendar and pierced decorated brass filigree and dolphin spandrels; brass 8 day weight driven movement has an anchor escapement, hour strike on a bell on top with solid brass pulleys, iron weights and long steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob. In a mahogany case with crest having spun brass finials over turned corner columns; bowed door panel at the waist flanked by turned half columns, large inset panel in the base. Old overcoated finish; running and striking. 88″ high x 18″ wide x 10.25″ deep.

Original painted metal dial has a 10 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, sub seconds dial, pierced hands, gilt filigree spandrels, moon phase with painted sailing ship scene and signed “Warranted Ansel Turner”. Has an 8 day brass weight driven movement with recoil escapement, one hour drop hammer bell strike, brass pulleys and long pendulum with brass covered bob and steel rod. In a mahogany case with arched and pierced carved crest, turned columns on the bonnet with brass capitals and turned quarter columns on the body. Case is in good condition, refinished and polished; missing the 2 weights and 3 finials. 90 in. high x 17 in. wide x 9 in. deep.

Mahogany Massachusetts Tall Case Clock. Painted metal dial has an 11.5 in chapter ring with black hour numbers and 5 minute markers outside, has a sub seconds dial and cutout aperture showing the calendar disk; fancy pierced hands and painted on the arch with a nesting bird surrounded by flowers. Has a brass, weight driven movement with recoil escapement, drop hammer hour strike with a steel bell at the top and stamped ÂOwen on the back of the iron dial mounting plate; pendulum has a long wood stick with brass covered bob, has quality brass pulleys and tin wrapped weights. The tall mahogany case has an arched pierced carved crest with spun brass spherical finials with eagle center finial, turned & fluted columns on the side of the bonnet, fluted corner columns on either side of the inlaid door and has banded inlays on the base with French feet. In very good condition, calendar disc is missing most of its paint, otherwise, the clock is very nice. 92 in. high x 19 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.
