Eli Terry, Jr., Plymouth, CT, Quarter Column Transitional stenciled clock. Stenciled columns and splat with flowers, reverse painted glass, claw feet, beautiful label “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold in Plymouth, Connecticut by Eli Terry, Jun’r.”. Weight driven, wooden works clock, with hand painted dial, key and pendulumn. Measures approx. 28″ tall x 17″ wide x 4″ deep. Many Eli Terry Clocks which depict a home or building on the reverse painted glass tablet, are actual homes in the Town of Plymouth and surrounding Connecticut towns of the time period.

A 19th century Samuel Terry column shelf clock. 30 hr weight driven time and strike wooden movement with painted wood dial. Mahogany case with shaped crown, single long door with lower painting, flanked by turned pilasters. Paper label 80% intact. Older refinishing with minor damage, replaced painting, restored crown, lacks alarm mechanism. 34″ high.

An early 19th century Samuel Terry, Plymouth, Conn Mahogany shelf clock. 8-day Brass, weight driven movement with seconds bit and painted wooden dial. Flat top Mahogany case with molded cornice and slender turned columns, single door with lower reverse painted glass (Tom Moberg replacement). Older refinishing with wear, replaced lower glass panel, running when cataloged. 27 1/2″ high.
