Mahogany case with stenciled columns and splat, single door with reverse painted lower glass and carved paw feet. Older finish with wear and minor damage, repair and loss to splat, repainted glass, not running when cataloged. 28 1/2″ high.

Wooden works, weight driven, with hand painted dial, claw feet (some loss on feet). Very nice label, “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold in Plymouth, Connecticut by Eli Terry, Jun’r.”. Measures approx. 28 1/2″ tall x 17″ wide x 4″ deep. Many Eli Terry Clocks which depict a home or building on the reverse painted glass tablet, are actual homes in the Town of Plymouth and surrounding Connecticut towns of the time period.
