A late 19th century French figural floor molded clock by Samuel Marti et Cie, Paris. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with visible escapement and two-part porcelain dial with Roman numerals, marked by the retailer "Shreve, Crump & Low, Boston". Cast Spelter base after "A. Carrier" with Classical draped female figure holding a sphere with foliate swags standing on a molded hexagonal base. Some surface wear and corrosion, dial hairlines, lacks pendulum, not tested. 61" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000

French Art Deco Clock w/ Lady and Fawn on a Brown Mottled Marble Case: time and bell striking movement is marked F. Marti 859. The silver diamond shaped dial has names Charlier Milly and is 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″.

The clock is 12 1/2″t x 21 1/2″w and running at this time.

(The finish on the metal figures is showing minor wear.)

Paris, 1642, 41-4 and Samuel Marti. Title tag on the marble base wording, HARD! COURAGE! Cheer-up! Pluck up! by C. Mouflier.

(Clock may have the wrong pendulum, there is no room for it to swing.)
