Terry’s Patent Torsion Balance Wheel Clock. 6 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands and hinged brass door bezel; brass spring driven movement has a large balance wheel at the bottom and engaging the torsion pendulum connected to the escapement, S.B. Terry’s patent stamped “Patented Oct. 5, 1852”, in good running condition. In a rosewood octagonal case having an overcoated finish, some minor veneer loss to one corner. 8.75 in. high x 8.75 in. wide x 3 in. deep.

400 Day German Hooded Torsion Hat Clock: From the Jahresuhren-fabrik Company. The movement is marked “Patent Angene Idet”; has a porcelain dial marked “W. Germany” and a round torsion pendulum. Circa 1904. The clock is complete with the dome and brass hat.

Guilmet Lighthouse Torsion Pendulum Clock. The two tone pyramidal bronze case depicts a lighthouse built from bricks on a black marble base. The clock has a torsion pendulum with helical spring spinning behind beveled glass panels in the center of the dome, resembling light. Square plate movement has a Brocot escapement and coiled gong strike, signed GLT Paris and numbered 1094. In good condition, 23 in. high

Terryville Torsion Cottage Clock. 4 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals and fancy blued hands; brass spring driven movement has patented double acting torsion balance and escapement with double weighted cross-bar balance rotating on a long suspension spring which engages the pin-type crutch. Paper label in the back of the case for Terryville Manufacturing Company. Mahogany cottage style case has filigree reverse painted tablet glass. Worn original finish, missing some veneer at the top beveled edge of the base, dial is replaced, clock is in running condition. 11 in. high x 7 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

Paper label in the back of the case reads “Marine Clocks Time Piece, Double Acting Torsion Balance & Escapement, Theodore Terry & Co.”. In a rosewood steeple style case with turned conical finials and original reverse painted tablet glass. In good condition and enhanced original finish with only minor veneer losses and inpainting to the dial and tablet; suspension is broken at the top. 13 in. high x 7 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep.

Suspension is broken, balance crossbar and beat adjustment post are present in the case, door glass is replaced. Terryville Manufacturing Co. paper label on the back of the case. 11 in. high x 11 in. wide x 3 in. deep.
