English. 1890s. Brass with bevelled glass panels and a porcelain dial. Features visible escapement. A French made carriage clock made by Richard & Cie of Paris, France for English merchant Searle, Hoare & Co. of England. Marked "Searle, Hoare & Co." on the dial. Marked, "R & Co." on the movement.
