Regency Mahogany and Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock
England, first half 19th century, mahogany rectangular case with reeded scrolling brass inlay, reeded dome top with brass pineapple finial, the round enamel dial appears unmarked behind glass with side key lock, with painted Roman numeral hour markers, time and strike movement, pierced brass side panels, raised on four ball feet. Includes pendulum and keys.

A Regency brass-inlaid mahogany bracket clock by Jackson of Brompton, circa 1820. Having an 8″ white-painted Roman dial inscribed “Jackson Brompton”, the wire-driven twin-fusee movement with shouldered plates, the break-arched case with brass inlay on a fluted frieze, plinth and brass ball feet, the sides with brass lattice grilles beneath ring handles, one with pull-repeat cord, 17.25″, (44cm) high.

A Regency brass-inlaid rosewood bracket clock by Moses Levin, Royal Exchange, London, circa 1820. Having an 8″ arched white-painted Roman dial inscribed “M,, Levin Royal Exchange LONDON”, with moon hands beneath Strike/Silent ring, the chain-driven twin-fusee movement with shouldered plates having engraved borders framing engraved inscription as above, the break-arched case with melon finial over stepped circular podium surmount, the brass front with canted corners, fluted frieze and plinth with brass ball feet, the sides with ring handles over lancet sound frets with brass tracery, one side with pull-repeat cord, 25″, (64cm) high.
