Rare A. Courbet, Ormolu-Mounted & Ebonized Striking Lyre Clock, circa 1815

Ebonized lyre form with apollo mask and cockerel heads, 3 1/2 in. gilt dial with subsidiary seconds, bell striking movement with pin-wheel escapement. Knife-edge suspension, nine rod gridiron pendulum. Signed by A. Courbet of Paris.
