Paris, late 19th century, ebonized architectural case with shell veneer and ornate brass inlays, scrolling ormolu mounts and feet, pierced diaper panel sides, surmounted by an urn and fruit finial, round dial with blue and white enamel roman numeral markers, the works marked "3586 Raingo Frères / Paris 5," includes pendulum (also marked 3586), no key.

Raingo Freres, Paris, a rare amboyna and gilt bronze orrery clock with music box, the rotunda form case with gilt leaf and dart molded rings at top and bottom, the columns with finely ornamented gilt bronze bases and capitals, supporting the entablature, the top mounted with bas relief ormolu signs of the zodiac and a silvered calendar ring, gilt, signed, roman numeral engine turned dial with finely detailed cast bezel, blued steel Breguet style hands and concentric double pointer indicating the day and deities, 8 day two train movement with compensated gridiron pendulum and striking the hours and half hour on a bell, and controlling the rate of rotation of the orrery, demonstrating the motion of the earth and moon around the sun, the four year orrery movement with its own power source and rectangular plates, and with horizontal, dead silvered dials at each end, one indicating the common and leap years, the other showing the age of the moon, with optional manual drive through a handle at the right side of the clock, all resting on a square plinth containing the musical mechanism with pinned cylinder, playing at noon and midnight or on demand, the front with brass plate engraved "Fecit Raingo a Paris", and with three toggles for controlling silence, manual play, and tune change, the clock beneath a protective glass dome

Raingo Freres gilt and patinated metal figural clock garniture with cupid mounted on a white marble base flanking the ribbon decorated clock, matching candelabra with four arms, original patina, white porcelain dial and moon hands, movement signed "Raingo Freres, Paris," 8-day movement having count wheel striking on a bell, minor chips to the sharp edges of the marble, running, strike functional. 17 in. high x 9.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep (clock), 12 in. high x 6.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep (candelabra).

French Raingo Freres Dore Bronze Clock, Circa 1845, 4″ excellent flat white enamel dial, 8-day, circular brass spring driven silk thread suspension movement, signed Raingo Freres, period Rococo, heavy dore’ bronze with burnished accents attached to bracket base, a very high quality decorative clock, suitable for a formal room setting, excellent condition with normal wear. Height 15 3/4″, Width 7″, Depth 7″.

French Dore Metal Clock, Raingo Freres: the time and bell striking movement is signed and numbered 696. The fancy 3″ dial with enameled Roman numerals is also signed on an enamel band. The case has leaf and floral decoration.

Pons Raingo Freres Clock, Bronze Warrior & Horse: Silk String with a bell strike movement No. 2553 and a porcelain dial. The early case is topped with a Genghis Khan like warrior on a horse. They are on a rock mound above the gilt bronze base decorated with an urn of flowers. Both springs are good.
(There is no pendulum with the clock. The dial is fractured. The tail on the horse has been re-attached.)
