Quality Carved Oak Triple Fusee Bracket Clock. 7 in. silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals, black 5 minute numbers outside, brass back plate with applied gilt brass filigree, silvered sub dials for Chime/Silent, Beat Adjustment & Chime on 8 Bells/Westminster; signed on a silvered tag “Fattorini & Sons”. Quality brass 8 day triple chain fusee movement, unsigned, has an half hour strike on a nest of 8 bells at the top of the movement and strikes the hour on a large coiled gong, quality brass pendulum with lockdown hardware; movement is very clean and in running condition. In an oak case with a clean French polished finish, broken pediment crest with brass finial, turned side columns and turned feet, beveled door glass. English sterling silver engraved presentation plaque on the front to Reverend Herbert Burges Hunt, the Vicar of Wyke by his Parishioners, October 1892; also accompanied by a letter dated 1971 which was typed by a named “Eric G.G. Lowe” in an attempt to research Mr. Hunt. 27.25 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.
