Pratt & Frost Half Column Mantle Clock – Groaner. Painted wood dial has a 10 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, floral center and gilt spandrels & pierced hands; has 30 hour wooden works movement with large gears, count wheel strike mechanism with drop hammer bell strike on top of the case, brass pendulum bob & iron weights. In a mahogany splat and half column case, has a ebony and stenciled crest with fruit basket and long turned half columns with stenciled gilt decoration; mirror in the lower section of the door, original glasses. Remnants of paper label in the back of the case for Pratt & Frost, Reading, Massachusetts. 34.5 in. high x 16.5 in. wide.

Daniel Pratt Jr. Wood Works Shelf Clock: weight driven with gong strike. In a mahogany and veneer case with signed 7″ wood dial. The interior label is partly covered with newspaper articles. The name Nathan Frost and Reading are visible. The case is very clean. Not tested for working condition; weights are not properly strung. A key is with it.
(The dial is split. The lower glass pane is held in with small nails and may be a replacement. The case has a minor edge scrape at the top.)

Jonathan Frost 3 Wt. Shelf Clock: wood works with time and gong strike, plus bell striking alarm. The 7 1/4″ wood dial is original and signed. There is also a good interior label. The case is mahogany and veneer. No key. The upper glass is original. The case has a nice clean look.
(Replaced lower glass panel with reverse painting. There are extra holes in the background.)
