A 19th century French Bronze & Porcelain mantel clock by Vincenti et Cie, Paris, retailed Camerden & Forster, New York. 8-day time and strike movement with a painted porcelain dial and raised Roman numerals marked "Carmerden & Forster". Medium Blue porcelain body with Gilded Bronze base and mounts including Lion's mask handles and Love Birds finial. Minor surface wear, running when cataloged. 18 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200

Circa 1890 French Unsigned 8 day Mantel Clock with 3.75″ Flat enamel dial with hairlines, Spring driven brass movement with gong strike, Powder blue and white porcelain case with hand painted courting scene, cartouche below dial, heavy gilt decoration. Case with Serves France trademark on bottom. Very good condition porcelain case with no visible chips or cracks, lacking gong and pendulum, needs cleaning. 14″H x 9″W x 4.5″D

bearing double crossed swords in underglaze blue, partly obscured by hardware, and with impressed and incised numbers to the underside; the movement stamped LENZKIRCH A.U.G. and numbered.

French mantel clock with a bronze mounted porcelain case decorated with painted courtship scene, signed "Minard," original dial, hands and pendulum, 8-day brass rack and snail striking on a gong, porcelain with crazing, no evidence of chips or repairs, runs a few minutes before stopping, strike is sticky but working, gong needs to be adjusted. 12 in. high x 14.25 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
