A Regency brass-inlaid mahogany bracket clock by Jackson of Brompton, circa 1820. Having an 8″ white-painted Roman dial inscribed “Jackson Brompton”, the wire-driven twin-fusee movement with shouldered plates, the break-arched case with brass inlay on a fluted frieze, plinth and brass ball feet, the sides with brass lattice grilles beneath ring handles, one with pull-repeat cord, 17.25″, (44cm) high.

Mahogany Inlaid Bracket Clock. 6 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals; round French brass movement signed Vincenti, has a platform and balance wheel escapement and half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a mahogany case with inlays, turned quarter columns, brass feet and brass bezel; in good overall condition and original finish, movement is not running. 13 in. high x 11 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep
