Ph. Mourey Figural Mantle Clock. Gilt metal standing figure of a woman, an artist holding a paint brush and pallet in one hand and a tablet in the other, at her feet is an easel and portfolio with an artists box to the left; has figural cherubs on either end, on claw feet and inset brass panels along the border and on the front medallion. The clock tower has figural sphinx heads, handles and porcelain urn finial; 3.5 in. painted porcelain dial has a blue background, white panels with gilt Roman hour numerals, gilt spade hands and floral center. Typical round French brass spring driven movement signed Japy Freres, has half hour strike on a bell; case is signed on the back Ph. Mourey. 19 in. high x 18 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Signed Ph. Mourey Figural Mantle Clock. Gilt decorated white metal case with standing figure of a fisherman holding a string of fish in one hand and a rope in the other hand attached to a net hanging over his shoulder, barrel containing the timepiece is to his left with a fountain shaped crest with lionÂs head and seashell; the base has a white onyx top and front with flowing filigree design, signed on the back ÂPh. MoureyÂ. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy FreresÂ, has an half hour count wheel strike on a bell. Case has some wear to the painted gilt finish, no breaks or cracks to the onyx, minute hand is broken and missing pendulum & suspension. 14 in. high x 13 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

French Conical Mystry P.H. Mourey Figural Clock, 8 day time and strike 4″ gold washed dial, silk suspension. Engraved with a blank name plate, White onyx and Spelter of a woman holding toy steam engine. Eagle stamp on movement.

(Several repairs to the edges of the case. Bottom of case is reinforced, may have had 2 more feet at bottom. Pendulum rod is ground in several areas.)

French Figural Onyx Mantle Clock. White onyx case has a lyre shape on a rectangular platform, has a 3.25 in. chapter ring with black Roman numerals and the movement is exposed through the center behind open moon hands. The round French brass movement is marked P.D. Paris in an oval; the figural pendulum depicts a cherub on a swing, it swings front to back. Clock sits under a dome and is in very good condition. 9.25 in. high, Dome is 13 in. high

Philippe Mourey Figural Dore Bronze & Onyx Conical Pendulum Mystery Clock. Standing dore bronze classical female figure holding a locomotive in one hand and the pendulum in the other, hanging from a silk thread suspension, she stands beside a globe on a round plinth on top of the clock case, figure is signed Ph. Mourey; white onyx case has dore bronze side mounts, columns, feet and finials. 4 in. gilt metal dial has applied brass Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced hands; round brass spring driven movement has an half hour count wheel strike mechanism with steel bell, movement has a vertical post connected to a lever at the top of the movement which rotates the pendulum counter clockwise. Clock is in working condition with a few minor corner chips and one repair to the case, one foot is loose and the lions head escutcheon plate at the bottom of the pendulum is loose. 22.5 in. high.

the gilt spelter figural clock of a woman holding the starred blue ball style pendulum. Raised on a onyx and malachite stepped plinth with gilt mounts encasing the Japy Freres eight day bell strike movement. The gilt dial with marked with merchant’s name, “James Neill and Co. Belfast,” base figure surround stamped, “P.H. Mourey.” Malachite later addition. 23″H, Circa – 1880.
