Canadian. 1910s. Fumed oak. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Strikes on a helical gong. Partial paper on reverse. Dial marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada" lower edge. Original finish. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. Quarter sawn oak case. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Canada”. 6″ x 10.75″ x 14.25″. Quarter sawn oak case exhibits fine uniform surface craze. 1″ x 1/16″ piece of veneer is missing from the rear upper quarter. Veneer re-applied on top, nearest reverse. Door has been replaced. The celluloid dial exhibits minor rippling. The brass bezel hinge is loose and needs to be lifted to close properly. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Berlin, Canada”. A paper seal is affixed to the paper label sold by “J. Pequegnat & Sons Jewellers Guelph, Ontario.”. 7.5″ x 15″ x 10.75″. Quarter cut oak case has its original finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratches in the lower quarter at the 4 and 8. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Polished brass bezel. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

The bezel has some oxidization.
