This early example features a celluloid dial with Slow/Fast adjustment. Far fewer examples are found in mahogany than oak. A full, early long-format paper label is affixed to the lower quarter at the rear of the clock marked, “Made in Canada The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. 7″ x 17.5″ x 12″. Mahogany case in original finish. The brass bezel exhibits oxidation and the hinge has been previously repaired and is slightly loose. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

An early example featuring fleur-de-lis hands, a celluloid dial and long-format label. A full paper label is attached to the lower quarter at the back, marked “Made in Canada, The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada.”. 7″ x 17.75″ x 12.25″. Oak case retains original finish with uniform surface craze. The feet, figural lions, column bases and capitals retain the original finish. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

A rare and complete example in rarely-seen walnut. Pequegnat was noted for making uncatalogued variants in desirable woods. This rare example retains an original Berlin-signed dial and full paper label on reverse. Original Berlin-signed time and strike 8-day movement. Walnut case in perfect original finish. Rare. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. Full reproduction paper label is affixed to centre rear door, marked, “Galt Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. A paper seal is affixed to the paper label sold by “J. Pequegnat & Sons Jewellers Guelph, Ontario.”. 7.5″ x 15″ x 10.75″. Quarter cut oak case has its original finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratches in the lower quarter at the 4 and 8. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
