Canadian. 1920s. Exceptionally lively quarter sawn oak case. 15-day time only with double main spring. The "Moncton" clock was made in two case lengths. This is the shorter version. Signed, "Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada", dial. Excellent original condition. Retains levellers and beat indicator. Original arabic dial. Service history from 2002 included. Mechanically functioning. 33.25" x 16" x 5".

Dial exhibits scattered paint loss. Retains remnant of original paper, rear case.

Features a 15-day double spring movement using a graham deadbeat escapement. The Moncton model was favoured by Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Railways as a reliable station timekeeper. The moncton came in two case styles; a long drop and short drop.
