Canadian. 1910s. Oak. 8-day spring driven time only movement. Paper on reverse. Original finish. Case has been reinforced in some areas with finishing nails. Replacement bob. A full intact paper label is attached to the back marked, “‘Midget, Eight Day Mission Clock’ Made by, ‘The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada’”. Movement signed, “Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin Ont” on plate. 4.75″ x 8.25″ x 16.75″. The oak case has been refinished. The horizontal slat at the right side at the lower quarter was split and the upper portion is missing. A brass pin is missing from the right front in the lower quarter. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Rare. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. Full reproduction paper label is affixed to centre rear door, marked, “Galt Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. A paper seal is affixed to the paper label sold by “J. Pequegnat & Sons Jewellers Guelph, Ontario.”. 7.5″ x 15″ x 10.75″. Quarter cut oak case has its original finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratches in the lower quarter at the 4 and 8. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

The “Bedford” model is among the smallest clocks made by Pequegnat. The dial is signed “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Canada”. 5.75″ x 9″ x 10″. Case had been painted. The porcelain dial is in excellent condition. Brass bezel has been replaced and was not made by Pequegnat. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.
