The 2nd issue “Maple Leaf” was offered in two distinct styles referred to by collectors as the “Pointed Top” and “Round Top”. This is the “Pointed Top” example. Full paper label attached to the upper back marked, “Maple Leaf Kitchen Clock, Eight Day, Half Hour Gong”. Made by, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada” on lower edge. Movement incised, “Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin Ont.” on front plate. 4.75″ x 12.75″ x 22.75″. A corner piece of the applied decorative moulding on the 1st quarter has been re-glued. There is a 2.5 inch horizontal grain split to the left of the dial. The gold “maple leaf” glass is in near perfect condition. The original paper dial exhibits heavy soiling and surface loss. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Made by, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. 5″ x 12.5″ x 21.5″. Solid case with Quarter cut oak base. Decorative molding on the 1st quarter. There is a hairline grain split at the right lower quarter that runs 3 inches and can be seen on the interior as well. The paper dial has minor staining. The gold lettraset maple leaf design on the glass is in near perfect condition. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
