Pequegnat Canadian Time Office Clock

Canadian. 1920s. Dark Oak. 8-day spring driven time only movement. E.N. Moyer was a Canadian school supplies and bookstore headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Moyer originally supplied clocks and other furnishings to Canadian schools from the 1920s and later. Dial marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada" lower edge. Stamped by merchant on the dial underneath XII and marked on the lower edge of the dial. Partial dial on reverse. Original finish. Split to backboard. Requires "Canadian Time" glass. Pequegnat “Canadian Time” Wall Clock

Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada” on lower edge. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co.”. 6″ x 13.5″ x 9.75″. Original finish with uniform craze. Glass panel retains “Canadian Time” decal. Movement complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Stamped, "Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Ont.", on movement. Partial label to rear. Dial exhibits heavy surface losses. Numerous shallow impressions to brass bezel. Mechanically functioning. 36" x 18" x 5.25".
