The “Brampton” model was offered with and without a “crown”. This is the “no crown” version. Strikes on a single tuned rod. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Canada” on lower edge. A paper label is attached to the interior rear door marked, “Brampton Eight-Day Mantel Clock Made by the Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Kitchener, Canada”. 6.5″ x 15.5″ x 10.25″. Oak case with applied Fleur de Lis mouldings at either side of the face. Painted dial exhibits minor chipping at the lower quarter and at the centre of the dial. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Rare. Painted metal dial. Quarter sawn oak. One of two variations known to collectors, this example features an applied crown top. Notice the label was originally intended for a “Citadel” model and has been re-purposed to suit this model. Movement incised, “Pequegnat Clock Co.”. Full paper, inner rear door. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Canada” on lower edge. 15.5″ x 6.5″ x 11.25″. Original finish. Bezel is slightly loose and struggles to snap closed. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.
