A fine early Pennsylvania Walnut tall case clock, circa 1790-1820. Has a broken pediment top with finials mount to either side but no center finial or spire. Has a hand painted dial which is in a hood flanked by full columns. The center waist section of the clock and the lower case portion are both flanked with fluted quarter columns. The clock rests on chippendale style bracket feet. Measures approx. 85"h. Has finial (in need of repair, pendulum, and weight, 30 hour clock
dial inscribed "Jacob Diehl Reading", Berks County, Pennsylvania, circa 1800, old dark surface, broken arch molded pediment with dramatic carved rosettes above relief carved leaf and floral tympanum, waisted case with blind fretwork basket weave molding, over shaped door flanked by fluted quarter columns, paneled base with ogee bracket feet, arched and painted dial with moon phase, seconds sweep, and date aperture, brass eight day movement, pendulum and two weights present, 95 x 25-1/2 x 12 in.

Pennsylvania Federal Tall-Case Clock ca. 1800, Signed Charles Cooper
Broken swan form pediment with urn form finials above an arched form door opening to a dial signed Charles Cooper, Lebanon with Arabic chapter ring and moon phase calendar aperture all centered by a pair of full columns. The waist having a single arched form door all resting on carved animal paw feet.
