This clock is not made with Lapis Lazuli. The sides of the case are faux lapis, painted onto brass plates.

Antique, early 20th century, Longines Russian and Swiss made jeweled desk clock. Crafted by hand in lapis lazuli and adorned with Russian 88 imperial silver vermeil applications in floral designs throughout. Accented with antique Victorian era diamonds, lovely ruby cabochons and acorn finials throughout. Hinges allow the center clock portion to rotate upwards and downwards between the two column posts. Two dragons are set to verso besides the sapphire crystal casing which contains the original serial numbered Longines Swiss made jeweled movement. Serial: 4781784. Circa: 1928-1929. This one of a kind antique Art Deco clock was exceptionally made inside and out. Each footed base bears the Russian 88 zolotniki and silversmiths' "AK" initials hall-markings. Dimensions: 9? L x 2-3/4? W x 6-1/4? H. Total Weight: 1.46 Kg.
