Ornate Carved Oak Sidney Advertising Clock: brass trim and bob; 11″ paper dial reads “Winton Popular Jeweler”; glass advertising Schenevus Pharmacy Schenevus NY, Crockery, Lamps, Paints and Oils; instruction labels and lower mechanism complete; lower section has triple curved glass.

(Bottom rotating drum system replaced; middle curved glass is broken; clock is restored.)

Sidney Advertising Country Store Regulator Clock, 8 day, spring driven, 12″ calendar dial and time and calendar movement. Clock has a separate lower movement that rotates bottom 3 advertising cylinders every few minutes as well as ring a bell. Old tobacco ads in the top crest and original glass in the door with gold leaf nickel silver mother of pearl ads. Original old numerous ads in the bottom are old with Harness, Livery, Saddle Shops, Under Taker and Embalmer along with several recent replica adds. There are old trade Cards in the lower glass. Instruction label inside lower movement original with new main spring, clock dial original with Everitts Standard time. This is a hard to find clock in this good of condition. Circa. 1880’s.

Oak case in original finish with a light overcoat, reverse painted black glass around the dial with gilt border and reverse painted advertising tablet reads Time To Buy, Calumet Baking Powder, Best By Test. 38.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
