Drop Octagon Oak Wall Hanging Regulator. 12 in. original paper dial has black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring and red center with advertising for ÂLucky Strike Tobacco – R.A. Patterson Tob. Cos.Â, has large black spade and pointer hands; 8 day, brass, spring driven, time only movement signed New Haven, has original pendulum. In an oak drop octagon case with a overcoated finish and lower door glass reads ÂZimmer & Lovell, Erie, PaÂ; in good condition. 24 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 5 in, deep.

Galusha Octagon Drop Calendar Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial, comprised of 3 discs, the front disc contains the chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer ring with 31 date calendar signed Âpatented by Galusha MaranvilleÂ has cutouts for the second disc containing the sequential days of the week with Sunday highlighted in red and a cutout at the top exposing the months; the red date indicator moves automatically while the clock is running and the rear dials are manually adjusted at each months end, dials have some typical wear from age. Has a brass 8 day movement with recoil escapement, hour strike on a coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob, paper label on the back of the case reads ÂManufactured for N.C. Hyde & Co. by Gilbert Manufacturing CompanyÂ. In a rosewood case with octagonal top, brass door bezel and chamfered drop section having leaf carved corbels and reverse painted door glass; enhanced original finish. 24.5 in. high x 17 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Not tested.

(There are chips on the dial and scrapes on the dial surround. The veneer on the lower door is worn.)
