New Haven Octavius Figural Clock with 8 day half hour strike, cathedral gong , open escapement and a 4 1/4″ ivorized dial. Clock is running at this time.
(The outer dial has 2 fractures, the figures head has been reattached and there are some paint specks.)

New Haven Figural Mantle Clock  Carthage. Standing gilt metal figure of a Carthage soldier with shield on his left arm and he holds a spear up in his right hand, wears full armor with winged griffin on his helmet, clock tower to the right with urn finial, handles and half columns on the sides and a portrait medallion on the front; iron base painted in faux green marble with gilt metal front mount and feet. 5 in. inset porcelain dial with black hour numerals, original black hands and exposed Brocot escapement; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed New Haven Clock Co., has an half hour strike on a coiled gong. In good overall condition, running & striking, figure is missing sword at his hip and the back end of the spear is replaced, rear door broken at the hinge and front mount is detached. 19 in. high x 20 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
