Original 10 in. paper dial signed ÂNew Haven 1817-1853 with black hour numbers and black spade hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed with the New Haven trade mark, half hour strike on a coiled gong, long ebonized wood pendulum stick, brass covered bob and silvered brass beat indicator signed ÂNew Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., USAÂ. In a large heavily carved oak case with filigree carved crest, pilaster & flame pilasters on the door front and a filigree apron carving; has an enhanced original finish in beautiful condition. 51 in. high x 20.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
