New Haven Oak “Monarch” Calendar Clock: With an 8 day T&S movement; a paper upper dial; a painted tin lower dial and the pendulum. The gong has a very deep sound.

1880-1910 era, old refinished Oak case, Monarch in gold stencil on the front original tablet, painted tin face with Roman Numeral numbers with some flaking, base calendar movement is in really good condition, the original label on the back states that the Monarch Clock Co., was in Knoxville, Tenn. 32″ tall by 17 1/2″ wide.

Jerome & Co. paper dial with silvered bezel, has black Roman hour numerals and fancy sub ring with days of the week and pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement has an hour strike on a coiled gong and signed with the New Haven Trade Mark. The lower calendar mechanism has a Jerome & Co. 12 in. paper dial with brass bezel, 31 date outer ring with Arabic numbers and fancy inner ring with months of the year; the Jerome & Co. perpetual calendar mechanism is mounted to the back of the dial. In a cherry wall hanging case with carved crest, turned finial and lower section with turned finials and rosettes. In good condition and original finish. 57 in. high x 17 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
