A late 19th century New Haven "Major" model kitchen shelf clock from the "Military Line". 8-day time, strike and alarm movement with a two-part papered metal dial and Roman numerals. Oak case with shaped crest over a single oval door with stenciled glass on a carved base. Paper label 70% intact. Refinished with minor wear, slight dial discoloration, running when cataloged. 23" high. ESTIMATE $100-200

Ornate pressed carved crest with floral designs, the side columns are urn shaped with the flowers coming out of the tops of them, floral band across the base, the front original tablet has a peacock feather in the lower left side. Refinished surface to the Oak case from New Haven Clock Co. 25″ tall by 15″ wide. 1880-1910 era.
