Southern Fashion No. 5 Double Dial Calendar Clock. Original 7.5 in. painted dial, black Roman hour numerals, fancy blued hands, inset paper sub seconds dial with silvered bezel; lower calendar dial signed Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis, Mo., lower dial is set on a hinged door. Good calendar hand. Has a Seth Thomas brass 8 day spring driven movement, manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co. for the Southern Calendar Clock Co, deadbeat escapement, blued coiled gong on a coiled brass mounting bracket, Long drop pendulum has a wood stick with silvered and damascened bob and silvered beat indicator. Original calendar mechanism is in good running condition, has original paper labels on the brass barrels. Walnut case is original finish, turned columns on the sides, pointed finials on the arched top and gold leaf on the door glass that reads – Fashion. Clock is in good working condition the gong is replaced. 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep

St. Louis, Mo., lower dial is set on a hinged door. Has a Seth Thomas brass 8 day spring driven movement No. 5 7/8, manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co. for the Southern Calendar Clock Co, has deadbeat escapement, count wheel hour strike on a brass gilt bell, brass covered pendulum bob. Original calendar mechanism is in good running condition, has original paper labels on the brass barrels. Walnut case has turned columns on the sides, pointed finials on the arched top and round bezels around the original dial glasses. Clock is in good working condition, case is refinished; has some flaking to the calendar dial. 32 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep
