Birge and Ives triple decker 8 day shelf clock, Birge & Ives, Bristol, Conn., ca. 1830s, mahogany case with carved eagle splat, carved half columns and claw feet, hand painted dial, mirrored mid section between turned columns, reverse painted glass bottom tablet, painted wooden dial, measures approx. 35 1/2″ tall x 17″ wide x 4″ deep.

A mid 19th century Joseph Ives triple decker shelf clock. 8-day time and strike strap brass "A" form movement with a painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with shaped crest, single long door with mirrored lower panel flanked by turned pilasters on a flat base. Older refinishing with minor wear, some damage, replaced crest, not running when cataloged. 30 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $100-200

A mid 19th century C & N Jerome triple decker shelf clock. 8-day time and strike strap brass "A" form movement with a painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with cornice top, upper dial door and a center panel with print over a lower door with reverse painted tablet, all flanked by full length turned columns, on a stepped base. Older refinishing with minor damage, replaced print in center panel, running momentarily when cataloged. 36 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-300

Mahogany case with carved crest, two doors with a central and lower reverse painted glasses flanked by turned columns. Refinished with restored glass, and veneer repair. 38″ high.

Mahogany Triple Decker Shelf Clock. Original painted wood dial has a 10 in. gilt chapter ring with black hour numbers, gilt decorated corners, pierced black hands; brass weight driven strap plate movement has iron side weights, brass covered pendulum bob & count wheel strike mechanism. In a mahogany case with filigree carved crest, rosettes on the sides, gilt half columns on the three sections, mirror in the center and reverse black & gilt painted lower tablet. Case is refinished, crest is replaced, pulley straps at the top are replaced, tablet replaced, missing locks and door pulls added, missing one weight. 37 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
