A late 19th century New Haven "Washington" model banjo clock. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with a silvered metal dial, Roman numerals and platform escapement, quarter hour Westminster chime. Mahogany case with an octagonal molded dial door, tapered waist panel lower door with the original tablets above a shaped drop. Partial paper label on back. Original finish with minor wear, lacks Chime/Silent hand, dial discoloration, running when cataloged. 41 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-300

New Haven 8 Bell Chime No. 1 Clock, brass 8-day, time, strike and chime spring driven movement, plays Whittington or Westminster chimes on 8 nested brass bells, movement is brass with nickel finish and signed "New Haven," mahogany case with brass trim and flame finials, finish has been enhanced and rubbed down, original silvered dial and brass hands, running and striking, 18 in. high x 12 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
