French Figural Standing Newell Lamp w/ Clock. 53 in. standing metal figure of a classical robed woman, her arms, feet and right knee are exposed through her garment, above her head she holds a large sphere containing the timepiece and she is surrounded by swooping branches with leaf and porcelain flower embellishments and 6 hanging floral designed lights with abalone shades. The timepiece has a 5 in. inset porcelain dial with Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands, exposed Brocot escapement with jeweled pallets and brass door bezel with beveled glass; French 8 day typical round brass spring driven movement is signed ÂLÂMarti et Cie and has an half hour strike on a steel bell. In good working condition with no breaks or repairs, shades are excellent, clock is in good running condition and the figure has a deep brown bronzed patina.
Description: 2 Vintage Mastercrafters Nautical Theme Mantel Clocks: 1.) “Flying Clown” ship with 3 sails. The clock runs and 1 light bulb works.; (One bulb needs to re replaced.) 2.)
