18th Century tall case/grandfather’s clock, “Tam Smyth, Larmundham”, silvered and brass dial, brass lantern type movement, large bell chime, solid oak case, domes top with brass gallery and finials, 3/4″ turned columns on hood, molded waist door, multiple molded base, 91″t, 18″w, 9″d. Good old finish.

Early Morbier 2 Wt. Tall Case Clock, 3 Pc. Case: With a steel dial that has a day of month display and is framed in brass with hammered designs, the front brass plate has been reattached to a modern backplate. The strike bell is above the newer English Grandfather movement. The 3 piece case has burr wood veneer and inlaid designs on what looks like mahogany as a base. The case has a keyhole front and a drop out access door.

Mahogany Tall Case Grandfather Clock. Painted metal dial has 13 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and sub-seconds dial; hand painted scenic corner pieces with windmill, castles, waterfalls and moon phase dial with harbor scene and farm cottage scene, minor paint chips and dent at number 25 on the moon phase. Brass weight driven movement, recoil escapement, drop hammer strike, iron weights, brass pulleys, brass covered pendulum bob. Has an inlaid mahogany case with broken arch on the bonnet, brass rosettes, eagle and spherical finials, turned and fluted columns with brass mounts; case is in restored condition.
