the case surmounted by carved pheasants above leaves, acorns, branches and deer, the weight driven movement with the third train driving a Swiss musical movement, the movement marked "KH" which is likely for Kalix Herrmann, Triberg, Germany

German, Black Forest musical mixed wood cuckoo clock, c. 1875, a delightful example of the craftsmanship found in Germany, bone hands on the dial and a carved botanical design to the case is visually pleasing while great attention has been paid to the aural element of this timepiece, “Star Spangled Banner” and “Conquerors Waltz” play on the hour, movement is stamped by maker, 30 hour movement, operating, 15.5″h, 13.25″w, 7″d, 11.25lbs

Carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. Heavily carved case with figural bird on the crest, large oak leaves and branches on the front with carved birds on the side and a birds nest below the 6 in. dial which has applied Roman numerals and fancy hands, pierced brass movement with lyre shaped cutout, 2 pinecone weights and carved leaf pendulum; bellows are intact and clock appears in good working condition, replaced back is missing the coiled gong. 30 in. high x 22 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
