High relief mantel clock with roosters fighting on top of the barrel form clock face, with rabbits, vegetables, and foliage below. The clock face with applied brass Roman numerals, the French movement by Marti et Cie, Medaille de Bronze, late 1860's. Includes pendulum, but no key. Inside is a single comb cylinder music box with later electrical alterations that no longer function. Handwritten 1899 repair notation at the interior. There are shrinkage cracks, and areas of loss and repair to the carving and case; the music box has a broken tooth, missing crank, and corrosion. 34.5"h x 38"w x 13"d **Please Note: This item is NOT eligible for in-house shipping.
