Miniature Quarter Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 1 in. porcelain dial with black Roman our numerals and blued hands, unusual brass spring driven movement signed on the rear plated ÂNocturne and ÂBrevete, 30225 with Swiss cross, has a platform lever escapement; button on top of the case with separate spring activates the quarter hour 2 gong strike, clock strikes on demand. In a tortoise shell case with gilt washed sterling silver mounts, handle and ball feet; hinges are stamped with ÂH.A. & Co.Â, London and sterling hallmarks. Has key, running and striking, no cracks or chips in the case, gilt wash has some typical wear. 3 in. high. Weight: 0.5 lbs.
