A late 19th century Vienna Regulator floor clock by F. Tradnick, Wien, 1882. 30-day weight driven movement, with Grande Sonnerie quarter hour strike, carved wooden dial with Roman numerals and brass bezel, Silvered hands and numerals, engraved weights and pendulum. Walnut two part case with galleried crest above a molded cornice and paneled frieze over a dial door with circular glass and molded frame and a waist door with carved Lion's mask panel both flanked by turned fluted columns, on a molded base with a carved panel flanked by turned fluted columns on and molded plinth with flattened bun feet. Old finish with good color, slight wear and minor damage, running when cataloged. 93" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000.

A late 19th century Long Running Vienna Regulator floor clock by Johann Salfer, Wien. High quality 120-day weight movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, a two part porcelain dial with Roman numerals marked "Johann Salfer, Wien" and brass bezel. Oak two part case with shaped crest above a molded cornice and carved foliate frieze, a dial door with circular glass and carved frame, over a waist door with a deeply carved panel flanked by tapered flat carved columns, on a molded base with carved frieze and Lion's mask detail over a carved panel flanked by turned fluted columns on flattened bun feet. Original dark finish has been enhanced, slight wear and minor damage, running when cataloged. 93" high. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000.
